Born in Bordeaux in 1948, I draw my inspiration from reading. In high school, I discovered charcoal. The line is replaced by the stain. At the end of the '80s, I met a master cartonnier from Aubusson, who taught at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and discovered the glazing technique.
My approach is to transpose a landscape into an atmosphere.
