Pap's | Contemporary Artist: Artworks & Biography

Attracted from an early age by the world of comics and drawing, PAP'S was trained very early in art. Very early on, his parents detected his talent in this field. Thus, between the ages of 6 and 9, Pap's was trained in classical painting via the Martenot method. Full of life and energy, he does not find his happiness in painting still lifes, and then puts an end to this artistic training. For the next 30 years, Pap's pursued his life without practicing art. However, at the dawn of his 40 years, the discovery of frescoes of street artists in Rouen reconciles him with art and revives his desire to create. He resumed what he had learned during his childhood, then turned to new techniques. He then spent 2 years searching for and building an artistic identity. Once he found his way, PAP's did everything possible to make himself known, despite the covid-19 which complicated his task. His determination and relentlessness finally allowed him to exhibit in France and abroad, despite this difficult context.
