Happy or unhappy, rich or poor. The most important thing is to create.
It is at the beginning of the years 2000, around 2003-2004, that Fermla discovers the art of the graffiti, at first, on the facades of his city then on the railroads of the RER. A few years later, in 2007, he realized his first graffiti on a wall. He discovers the feeling of freedom and adrenaline, which make him instantly fall under the spell of this art. Equipped with his paint cans, he practices this discipline for several years, mainly illegally. Little by little, Fermla opens himself to other supports and techniques. Quite naturally, he tried his hand at canvas and acrylic. He experimented with a new way of creating, without stress, on different supports and being able to take all the time necessary. His new perspectives have allowed Fermla to question the place of graffiti in the art world.
Fermla is passionate about art and graffiti has a special place in his heart. His main inspiration comes from graffiti artists on the Paris and île-de-France scene whose work he has seen for himself. They include O'Clock, See, Ozmek, Arsene, Keag and Sore. Artists from the 80s and 90s have had a huge influence on Fermla. He draws inspiration from this generation and pop culture to create colourful eye-catching pieces. His canvases bring graffiti together with pop culture references such as cartoon characters. He uses several techniques and often uses both spray and acrylic paint to strike the perfect balance.\n
