When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Julian's vocation was born from a graphic designer and artist father. As a teenager, he became interested in computer graphics and designed his first visuals alone on Illustrator. Without stopping drawing, he travels to New York and Valencia, develops a passion for music and basketball and starts a family. In 2020, in search of authenticity and meaning in an austere and digitalized world, he started painting. A tangy memory of his childhood, the artist makes lemons the emblem of his optimism. Online or in private collections, Julian exhibits all over the world and militates for humanitarian causes.
Julian's lemony works, a fervent defender of color in a grayish world, are invitations to optimism and joie de vivre. With a precise work of acrylic, he expresses himself through well structured shades with retro and fluorescent notes. With a simple, efficient and graphic style, he balances his art between lines, shapes and colors. His favorite subject, the lemon, is ultimately a light that gives life to a still life. Always in search of improvements and techniques, he is inspired by his travels and his meetings with other talents. Great names in painting and graphic design such as Henri Matisse, Andy Warhol or David Hockney also influence him. Julian's colorful, playful and vibrant canvases allow him to reach out to the general public, whom he hopes will embrace the happiness and enthusiasm that animates his daily life.
