Painting Montmartre by Dolgov Vadim | Painting

Having been drawing and painting since childhood, young Vadim would do his best to copy his father as accurately as possible when he worked with watercolours, while also closely observing his uncle and cousin when they got down to creating a work of art. A few years later, after obtaining his degree from l'Académie d'art et de design [Academy of art and design] of Orenburg, Vadim was invited to participate in an important national trip. Organised in 1997, it involved sending a group of Russian artists to India for them to draw new inspiration, and the trip would end with a collective exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery, which is a famous gallery in the state of Moscow. During his studies, Vadim assiduously practiced art based on model and painting in the open air. Today, he continues a part of his open-air painting.
