A painting lives only by the one who looks at it (Pablo Picasso)
Clémence PRESSAC is a young artist from Bordeaux who has had a love for art since she was a little girl. As a child she was drawn to art and always had a pencil to draw the things around her before she went into creating imaginary characters. Her love for art grew as the years went by and it was only natural that Clémence should go onto study art. She proved her talent in certain techniques and soon got to grips with using acrylic before she was introduced to oil painting. Clémence started her career as soon as she graduated.\n
Clémence's pieces are guided and inspired by her travels and nature. The themes are the start point for all her artworks as they bring her peace and balance. The artist devoted herself entirely to art and nature during the pandemic in 2020 to regain a sense of peace, calm and freedom. She draws inspiration from Resiha Pelmutter andSarah Mckendryn and starts out by studying visuals before beginning the painting stage with the visual in her head. Clémence uses realistic and muted colours so her pieces melt into space, just like real landscapes, and exude a sense of calm and adventure.\n
