Raphaël, known artistically as Oocalme, is a 30-year-old multidimensional creator who combines drawing and music to explore human emotions. Ever since he was a child, drawing has been a necessity for him to grasp reality and express his feelings. Active in the art world for six years, he particularly appreciates interaction with the public, enriching his practice through this dynamic exchange.

Oocalme creates using a variety of techniques, including spray paint and acrylic markers, appreciating bright colors and spontaneity of gesture. His works are made up of accumulations of figures and shapes, where each stroke is imbued with freedom and expressivity. Inspired by graffiti and pop art, as well as artists such as Jean Dubuffet and Keith Haring, he also finds inspiration in figuration libre and surrealism. By integrating elements of Arabic script and kanji, he enriches his compositions, creating works that invite reflection and personal projection on the part of the viewer.
