Pablo grew up in Andalusia, at the foot of the Sierra Morena mountains. At the age of 10, his family moved to Barcelona where he discovered a more intense cultural life. Nostalgic for his native land, he began to draw and paint to reproduce the play of colors and materials that he could no longer find in the city. He joined the Cercle Artistic de Sant Lluc and as an adult he naturally turned to the School of Fine Arts. He trained in the technique of engraving and made his first exhibitions. On the occasion of different artistic performances, Pablo experimented with new materials (paper mache, wood, iron). At the end of the 90s, he embarked on a world tour with his brushes in his pocket. This experience gives birth to his most intense and spontaneous paintings. He puts down on paper the emotions he feels on the surface of his skin in contact with the people and places he meets during his peregrinations in the four corners of the world (Portugal, Germany, Iceland, Holland, Italy, Canada, Cuba, the United States, Japan, Dominican Republic, Taiwan, China...). At the dawn of the year 2000, he discovers photography and integrates it into his work of painting and engraving. Pablo likes to use clean materials like paper that he recycles himself. Painting and collage are his favorite techniques, always inlaying a few elements: photos, engravings, recycled paper, sand and natural pigments. Pablo's works are condensed emotions and experiences of the world around him. Passionate about music, he finds in painting the structure of a classical symphony made of harmonies, rhythms and measures.
