In 1977, Lovisa left the south-west of France to prepare for the competitive art schools in Paris. She graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art in 1982. She specialized in mural art and practiced stained glass for several years, carrying out numerous restorations and official commissions in the Sylvie Gaudin workshop until 1996. From 2000 to 2007, she painted extensively, but did not yet exhibit, preferring to devote herself to raising her children. Her career took shape in 2009 when she registered with the Maison des Artistes. Since then, she has held a series of exhibitions across France.
Her compositions retain traces of her stained-glass craft. She finds her old tools (hammer, nail) by recycling soda cans or tin cans. Color plays a key role in her art. Her compositions come alive in a cartoonish, electric atmosphere. Taken out of the monotony of everyday life, the viewer witnesses a veritable explosion of colorful matter.
