Blandin Magali
The mission of art is not to copy nature, but to express it - Honoré de Balzac
Magali Blandin is a contemporary artist born in Orléans in 1987. Her artistic career took a decisive turn during her adolescence in Provence, where the light, colorful skies and authentic landscapes awakened her artistic sensibility. Self-taught, Magali specialized in oil painting with a knife, finding a perfect harmony between her passion for nature and her artistic talent. Since 2018, she has devoted herself entirely to her art, expressing through her works her wonder for natural beauty and its preservation.
Magali Blandin's inspirations come mainly from nature and its vibrant colors, with a particular affection for the trees and landscapes of Provence. Her oil-knife compositions feature striking contrasts and raised textures, creating dynamic, captivating canvases. Influenced by her hikes, travels, photographs and dreams, Magali seeks to convey a sense of serenity and wonder at the natural beauty that surrounds us. Her works are an invitation to contemplate and appreciate the richness of our planet, while raising awareness of the need to preserve it. Each painting is a celebration of life and nature, offering the viewer a moment of peace and reflection. Magali is open to special commissions, wishing to share her art and vision with a wide audience.
