Virginie Schroeder has been pursuing her path as a painter for over twelve years, after deciding to leave her job as a temp. In 2009, she reinvented herself by moving to Canada, and it was in Montreal that she took part in her first exhibitions, naturally finding her place in the city's vibrant cultural and artistic life. After a period when her style leaned towards Pop Art, she developed more personal techniques, born of a synthesis between her experience of the figurative and her fascination for the abstract.
Today, her paintings delight audiences not only in Canada, but also in France and the United States.
