Stéphane has used the alias Stef_custom_sneakers for his work painting and customising sneakers for years. He fell in love with art as a child. Stéphane has been drawing for as long as he can remember. Manga, tattoos, his own designs etc. The Toulon artist explored art and design in all its forms before his nephews introduced him to customised sneakers. It was a lightbulb moment for Stéphane who decided to go into the art which became his passion and a way to express himself. He joined the first French art collective and became an ambassador for the French Customshoes brand.\n
Stéphane aka Stef_custom_sneakers began specialising in painting and drawing on sneakers. He works on the design after sanding and coating the shoes in acetone to remove any grease. Some are approved beforehand whilst others are designed by instinct. Stéphane paints using a brush then creates a background and details to make the design unique. The artist draws inspiration from street art culture, old school tattoos, Japanese culture and Mexican culture with the Day of the Dead. His pieces are incredibly original, pop art and colourful. Stéphane uses the design or theme to send a message and capture his energy and passion.\n
