The past in the present.
A vintage enthusiast, RingArt creates interior design objects that brilliantly blend old-fashioned graphics with modern aesthetics. While working in a building testing center, it all began when his grandfather bequeathed him a number of "Le Journal de Mickey" magazines from the 70s and 80s. He refused to throw them away and, as a tribute to his grandfather, sought to give them a second life. Thus began his creative and artistic adventure. As if frozen in time, RingArt's sculptures take us on a journey into the past, as well as into his playful, colorful world.
With a world that subtly combines contemporary style with the charms of yesteryear, RingArt plunges us into the sweet nostalgia of our childhood. Starting with old pages from "Mickey's Journal", he tries and tries to find the procedure that will best enhance them. Eventually, the artist developed his own secret technique for transforming them into unique, colorful sculptures. Influenced by street and pop artists such as Ezkstreetart, Bansky and Peppone, he also takes inspiration from the character of "La Linéa" and movie quotes to create playful and original decorative works. RingArt now plans to deepen the message of its creations by incorporating old clippings from committed or satirical newspapers such as Charlie Hebdo.
