Nathalie Roverato, an engineer by training, left the world of industry to devote herself to her passion for sculpture. After almost 20 years in consulting and industry, she found new meaning in her life through artistic creation. Her works, hand-crafted in clay, embody a minimalist Zen aesthetic. Nathalie seeks to inspire meditation and inner peace through organic, regressive forms that reconnect with nature.
Nathalie Roverato's sculptures are created with ancestral techniques and a deep connection to nature. She uses terra sigillata, purified and shaped by hand, then fired using the Japanese raku method, which gives each piece its unique character. Her inspirations include Buddhist philosophy, ecopsychology, and artists such as Brancusi and Jean Arp. Nathalie seeks to convey the well-being and peace she feels when creating, following her intuition rather than rationality.
