Description artwork
This unique and original contemporary artwork "Zatoichi" has been created by the contemporary artist Péchane. The artist used Ink medium on Paper to create this Figurative, Small size painting.
Péchane grew up in Burgundy to become a video maker, photographer and designer. When he turned 18 he enrolled at Art School in Nevers and graduated in 1996 before joining the PAC des Ouches, an institution among local artists. The artistic experimentation incubator saw him work as an animator for 25 years. A documentary introduced him to the sumi-e technique in 2002, Japanese ink painting inspired by China, combined with a zen philosophy. It was the start of a beautiful love story! He has been exhibiting his work in Hungary, where he lives, Paris and his hometown Burgundy ever since.\n
