Dessapt Elika
Art is the only way to escape without leaving home. - Twyla Tharp
Passionate about art since childhood, Elika Dessapt grew up in a creative environment thanks to her painter father. After studying arts and crafts, she explored the world of digital concept art before returning to her artistic roots: traditional painting. With her father's help and inspiration, she developed a unique style blending classical techniques and personal innovation. Today, she devotes herself to creating natural landscapes and Parisian scenes, imbued with tranquility and elegance.
Elika Dessapt draws her inspiration from the soothing beauty of nature and the timeless charm of Paris. She seeks to capture the tranquility of landscapes and the classical splendor of the city, away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Using a unique technique incorporating sand, she adds texture and depth to her works, creating new dimensions in her urban and natural scenes. Her father, Guy Dessapt, was her first and foremost influence, passing on his love of art and guiding her in the development of her own style. Elika aspires to convey a message of peace, serenity and timeless beauty, encouraging viewers to slow down and appreciate the moments of beauty that surround them. Her works, marked by innovative techniques and a personal touch, offer an original and captivating vision of our world.
