The will to love, to live, is a natural tree,
Emma Karila is a visual artist living and working in Paris. After training at ESAM in interior architecture and a career in specialized decorating for children's bedrooms, she has been devoting herself fully to art for the past six years. Her passion for painting began at the age of ten, fueling a vocation deeply rooted in her being. Art as a meeting point between the outside world and our inner lives.
Emma explores nature and its poetic representations through various media such as paper, clay, paint and collage. She makes her own paper from natural fibers, which she sculpts and transforms into her final works. Each creation, oscillating between abstract and figurative, is an invitation to travel, a reflection on the paths of life and the choices that shape our existence. Inspired by artists such as Anselm Kieffer and Giuseppe Penone, Emma invites us to introspect on our own journeys, detours and reunions.
