Art is the nuance of emotion. Man knows and recognizes something of himself he never knew existed.
Italian-born artist Laura Rose grew up on a farm surrounded by nature, developing a deep bond with her surroundings. Passionate about the sea, she finds its landscapes an inexhaustible source of freedom and inspiration. Painting since the age of 11, Laura creates unique works blending vivid colors, abstract shapes and complex textures. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Macon, she is constantly exploring new artistic avenues, while remaining true to her roots and distinctive visual language.
Laura Rose's work is deeply inspired by nature, its landscapes and the architecture that surrounds her. Her art blends brushes and knives to create structured reliefs, translating her childhood emotions about landscapes. She seeks to capture light and darkness, conjuring up vibrant scenes of life. Her influences include the sea and its depths, where light and shadow meet. She also draws on her Italian roots and personal history to create canvases that exude deep emotional energy. Laura wants to convey a message of light, evoking the intoxicating sensation of the first rays of spring sunshine.
