Born in Saint-Étienne in 1987, Luma is a multidisciplinary artist who discovered his true vocation for art in 1992. Passionate about drawing from an early age, he then explored painting, finding in colors and materials a new form of expression. Luma is an instinctive creator, influenced by his travels, history and contemporary society. His studio, where he often works to music, reflects his eclectic universe and artistic commitment.

Luma draws his inspiration from human faces, capturing emotion and sensitivity in vibrant portraits. Each work begins with a photograph that strikes him with its intensity, setting the tone for his creative process. He prepares his canvases by combining colors and textures reminiscent of pop culture and street art, using brushes, rollers and sprays. His portraits are then drawn with instinctive strokes, incorporating drips and projections to convey the emotion felt. Luma draws inspiration from various artistic, musical and pictorial worlds, as well as from his many travels. He aspires to convey messages of peace and love, convinced that art can bring human beings closer together.
