"Promemons-nous"... in the woods. I was inspired by nature and the colors of spring. The traces that criss-cross the work at an angle are an illustration of the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which repairs broken objects by revealing the cracks. It's also an evocation of a nature that has been battered, but remains beautiful and inspiring in spite of it all.
