Sundblad Silvina
Loving what we do is an undeserved gift, for which my gratitude is infinite!
Silvina Sundblad is a contemporary artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Passionate about drawing since childhood, she has explored various artistic techniques over the years. Self-taught, she then deepened her knowledge through art workshops and courses with recognized masters. Mother of four and grandmother of seven, Silvina finds her family an inexhaustible source of inspiration and joy. For her, every blank canvas is an invitation to give free rein to her boundless imagination.
Silvina Sundblad's inspirations are varied and deeply rooted in art history. Fascinated by the women of Pompeii frescoes, images from the Middle Ages, the ornate Baroque, and the works of Matisse, Bonnard and Klimt, she draws on these influences to create unique works. Her creations often depict magical, unflappable women, symbolizing all the women of humanity. Silvina seeks to convey a message of hope and joy, despite the complexity of today's world. Her artistic approach is a hymn to color and magic, inviting us never to lose the illusion and to continue dreaming wonderful dreams. Silvina uses mixed media, working in oils, acrylics and watercolours, each brushstroke an expression of her love for life and creation.
