Huon Coralie
The mountains provide the backdrop... It's up to us to invent the story that goes with it - Nicolas Helmbacher
Coralie Huon, a passionate lifelong artist, finds drawing a profound and natural means of expression. Trained in interior architecture and after more than ten years of professional practice, a climbing accident rekindled her passion for drawing. She began to explore the themes of landscapes and outdoor sports, inspired by her personal experiences in the mountains and on her travels. Her works, a blend of acrylic and spray paint, captivate with their unique lines and vibrant colors.
Coralie Huon's works are an ode to nature and her inner landscapes. Inspired by her mountain experiences and travels, she translates her emotions and inner states through detailed natural landscapes. Her technique combines acrylic and spray paint to create dynamic backgrounds, followed by meticulous line work to capture details. Japanese prints, especially those by Hokusai, influence her artistic approach. Coralie uses vibrant colors and distinctive linework to create figurative works with a touch of abstraction. Each painting is an invitation to meditation and contemplation, reminding us of the interconnection between man and nature.
