Dandapat Swarup
Dandapat Swarup India
Swarup Dandapat was born in India in 1974. Graduate of the Government University of fine arts and crafts of Calcutta, class of 1999, he defines himself ‘as a professional artist’. His works were exhibited at the International Festival of Watercolour, which took place in February 2018 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Parallel to this, he pursued a career as a teacher. A visiting professor at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad (NID, State of Gujarat) and a consultant for many design institutes, he runs drawing workshops every year for undergrad and post-graduate students. He has also worked as a graphic designer in major Indian media (APB News and Times of India), multinationals (Capgemini) and international companies like Thomson Reuters.
