I find my inspiration from my childhood in Africa. The "Doudous", with round, graceful, blooming shapes, always in motion, are inspired by everyday life.
Training first at the Martenot School of Visual Arts, Neuilly-sur-Seine, then at the Institute of Decorative Painting in Paris, Aude learned pictorial techniques, and more specifically, the expertise related to the practice of watercolour and trompe-l'oeil painting. Subsequently, the interest of the young artist has turned towards the experimentation of sculpture, of which she studies the theoretical and practical principles at the School of Fine Arts in Aix-en-Provence. Since then, it is only through this second mode of expression that the singular creativity of Aude expresses itself and presents itself
The sculptor works every day to produce her three-dimensional works in her studio located in the heart of the city of Marseille. In a constant search for volumes and understated lines, Aude models each of her clay blocks with tenderness and generosity, to give birth to graceful characters, generally given disproportionate lower limbs. Escape, elegance and exclusivity are the key words of her artistic approach, entirely directed towards an exploration of forms and bodies, and eternally guided by her subjectivity alone. Made from coloured resin or bronze, the curvaceous figures of Aude are a real ode to femininity and voluptuousness, drawing their inspiration from the many travels of the artist and her childhood "in Africa and from the Senegalese "comforters" with blooming forms."
