Simplicity is not a goal in art, but one arrives at simplicity in spite of oneself by approaching the real meaning of things. Brancusi
Clara discovered her vocation at a very young age when her grandfather gave her her first painting kit. In a family passionate about horseback riding, she has a special relationship with horses and quickly becomes their first models. As an adult, she became a professional rider before turning to graphic design. Self-taught, she seeks above all to represent what she finds beautiful, as if to keep a trace in time. Today, in her own artist's studio, she thinks back with tenderness to her relatives who have always supported and encouraged her.
In her line-art style works, Clara depicts her subjects in a single continuous line with simplicity, dynamism and poetry. With this single line, she manages to reflect our emotions and retranscribe with sensitivity the essence and personality of her models. On the canvas, she uses several techniques for her background colors but traces her main thread only with Indian ink. Inspired by minimalist artists such as Mo Ganji, she also admires the work of Joan Miró and the timeless paintings of Henri Matisse. She is very touched by artistic interpretation and always wonders what place and importance her compositions will have in the life and history of her audience. Without being particularly committed, Clara's art evokes a form of equality, unity and optimism.
