I don't like to get tied down to one single style or one single technique.

Gwen has had a real passion for art since she was little. Her father had a gift for drawing and made her want to have a go at it herself. So she began drawing before she even learnt to write and worked hard to improve her technique. She bought her first paintbrushes when she was 16 and began exploring colour harmony with pop art before street art introduced her to stencils. She decided to leave her job in sales in 2019 to devote herself entirely to artistic design.

G. Carta's passion is street-art techniques, especially stencils. She has created her own signature technique before delving into painting. She uses her brush and spray to explore identity through portraits. The artist doesn't limit herself to just one style or technique so she can use all the tools of the trade. She lets her imagination run wild and dabbles with other techniques: lino printing, screen printing, collage. Her unique pop art-style pieces bring textures, colours, arms, mouths and letters together to depict famous names.
