"Like a continuous line that unites us, this is how it all began...with an act of love."
A young artist from Venezuela, Isabel grew up surrounded by creative friends and family. Curious and passionate, she cultivated her vocation along the way, taking a particular interest in photography, sculpture and animated film. In 2016, she moved to France. During the pandemic, she created a series of works for those around her, from which she drew her artistic concept. For Isabel, art is above all a philosophy of life, a means of exchanging and evolving in contact with her public, with happiness and emotion.
In her creations, Isabel captures the present moment with sensitivity and naturally expresses her feelings. On different media such as canvas or photography, she creates portraits in a single continuous line, without ever lifting her line from the horizon. Using pencils, brushes or markers, the artist varies the materials she uses, applying hues, textures and light around her main line. Her original approach is inspired by artists such as Salventius and Koketit, who draw in a single, instinctive stroke. She also appreciates the symbolism of the mask, particularly in African art, where each color has a precise meaning, and which is sometimes painted directly onto bodies and faces. Always positive and cheerful, Isabel hopes her art will break with preconceived ideas, blur genres and promote freedom and tolerance.
