I only know that I do what I can to render what I feel in front of nature. Claude Monet
Based in Lyon, Claire is an eclectic and passionate artist. She first graduated in fine arts, then specialized in the world of fashion and design. With experience as a stylist-colorist in wallpaper publishing, she then joined a screen printing workshop as a trainer and textile designer. Through several personal creations with pastels, she gradually reconnects with her love for painting and bright colors. Now independent, her works, all in nuances, materials and volumes, sublimate nature and its flamboyant landscapes.
Passionate about nature, Claire depicts shimmering and poetic landscapes evoking the Superbloom: a rare and spectacular natural phenomenon where wild flowers bloom in the middle of the desert. As in a sweet memory, the outlines sometimes vanish in imaginary settings all in colors and abstraction. His dreamlike works leave the viewer alone with the reflection of his past and his emotions. On canvas, the artist mainly uses oil pastels and wax crayons. She also plays with the texture and the pigments of the oil pencils to nuance the tints, while keeping their brightness and clarity. Fascinated by painting from the ground up, she admires the impressionists and pointillists such as Monet and Signac. Claire is also a curious artist who enjoys contributing to various creative projects and trying out other art forms.
