Art is a path of freedom and joy. Through my brushstrokes, I attempt a journey full of emotions to people's hearts.
JESSY comes from a family with a passion for artistic creation and got a taste for drawing at a young age. Her passion and talent in plastic arts naturally led her to the Na3onal Institute for Fine Arts in Beirut.\nThe artist wields her brushes and knives to delve into lights and transparencies to showcase her subjects in an intense array of colours. Influenced by avant-garde pieces by Andy Warhol (1928-1987) and Gustav Klimt (1862-1918), JESSY creates sensitive yet expressive paintings that bring out the beauties of nature.
Using his brushes and knives, Jessy works with light and transparency to sublimate his subjects, while endowing them with an intense chromatic variety. The creation of a work is inspired by a particular event, a feeling, a landscape, or a beautiful song. The artist then feels a particular energy that animates the need to deposit on his canvas the inspiration given by this event. Thus, the beginning of a painting is like a story that begins and a dialogue that starts between artist and viewer. As soon as this dialogue ends, she knows that her painting is finished. Influenced by the works of avant-garde artists Andy Warhol and Gustav Klimt, she creates paintings that are both sensitive and expressive, exalting the beauty of nature.
