Born in Brittany, Marion spent most of her childhood in New Caledonia in a family passionate about the arts. At the age of 10, she discovered her passion for drawing and painting. Back in France to study, she pursued a career in design and interior architecture when a trip to New York changed her life. Fascinated by the curves and energy of the city, she rethought her relationship to art and photography. After several exhibitions, she now works as a freelance illustrator to follow her vocation.

With her figurative and poetic works, Marion reveals the magic hidden behind the daily life of humanity in her urban theater. Behind her lens, she observes and collects the stolen moments that touch and inspire her. Through each individual, close or anonymous, the city gives itself up to her like a diary. Her imagination then weaves on the canvas a close link between reality, memories and fantasies. The artist works in oil or acrylic and sometimes adds chalk, felt pens or crayons. With tight and shifted framing, she accentuates nuances and contrasts. She admires artists who tell the human and the light like Alice Neel, Edward Hopper, David Hockney or Raymond Depardon. For Marion, beauty is all around us, and finally, it doesn't matter what the subject is as long as it has a story and emotions.
