70's show
Bring out the disco ball! The seventies, a legendary decade of freedom and creativity, saw the rise of bold, colourful and iconic decoration. Interiors began to reflect the personalities and lifestyles of their owners, allowing for greater creativity and mixes of styles. But it was also the beginning of retrofuturism, a decorating style that combined elements of the past with advanced technologies and futuristic materials. If organic shapes and bright colours are invading your home and your home is starting to look more and more like a set from That ‘70's show, check out interior designer Laureen Lee's advice and her selection of artworks for a 1970s-inspired decor.
