Sally B, a self-taught Malaysian artist living in Céret, in the south of France, developed a passion for painting as a child. Her works reflect her joyful personality and her appreciation of life's simple, happy moments. Influenced by Fauvism, she draws inspiration from the color choices of Matisse, Van Dongen, Maurice Denis and Pierre Bonnard. Sally B creates harmonious compositions featuring flowers, women and animals with a touch of nostalgia.
