Sophie Rocco is a contemporary painter and sculptor and began painting as a child. She taught herself and, at the age of fourteen, she passed the entrance exam to study visual arts at Collège Ganneron in Paris. She then joined the Sornas school of graphic art where she "learned from being in close contact with the masters, the contemporary realist painters who introduced her to drawing and whose painting would inspire her for a long time". She has also been inspired by her unconditional love for culture and museums. This love has been enriched by her many travels all around the world, which have played an essential role in her personal and artistic development.
