Discover the possibilities.\n
A self-taught painter, Sandrine Hirson has always had a passion for painting and creativity. With a degree in management and human resources, she worked in this sector and began painting in the mid-90s. Painting is a way of compensating for an excess of emotions. In 2001, she exhibited her Atlantide series for the first time, the starting point for her abstract creations. Since then, abstraction has imposed itself on the painter.
Sandrine Hirson paints by letting her emotions guide her. She doesn't intellectualize her creations, preferring to let herself be carried away by the moment and the mood. The painter is inspired by her surroundings, whether nature or scenes from life, and creates her own representation. In this way, she creates her own universe and her own vision of the world, which she shares with her viewers. The artist's references and influences include Zao Wouki and Ten Chun, as well as Paul Jenkis' "Oeuvres majeures" exhibition. She uses spalters, knives and various tubes of paint to bring her work to life. Sandrine plays with materials and colors to give the impression of a succession of planes and create different, original worlds.
