Sébastien Allart began exhibiting his work in 2009. He was spotted by the French TV channel France 3 at an Aix-en-Provence art market and asked to produce illustrations for a documentary series. He then exhibited at countless galleries and events in France, produced a poster for a Paris play and made a piece for a charity auction.Sébastien's carefully crafted poses, attitudes and gazes create canvases that draw us in and make us think. Each and every piece is magnetic and affects the audience.\n
Self-taught, Sebastien works with pen and acrylic marker, on paper. The artist is inspired by Man, in his soul dimensions, to give life to works that could be described as living paintings. The artist works in a spontaneous and dynamic way, without preparatory work. He lets himself be carried away by the movement and by the emotions that emanate from the postures, attitudes and looks of his subjects. This spontaneity of the features contrasts sharply with the softness of the faces he represents, creating graphic and unique works, both refined and worked.
